La primera parte de los 31st Golden Disc Awards tuvo lugar el 13 de enero, y agració a muchos de los artistas de K-pop de 2016. Los artistas tomaron el escenario para realizar algunos de sus grandes éxitos del 2016, además de las actuaciones de Suzy x Baekhyun, TWICE, BLACKPINK, Bolbbalgan4 y más, la noche tuvo una actuación especial de Uhm Jung Hwa y Ga In, la canción de “Come 2 Me” de Uhm Jung Hwa juntas.
